Jeremiah 46: But you, dear Jacob my servant, you have nothing to fear. Israel, there’s no need to worry....I’ll punish you, but fairly. No, I’m not finished with you yet.” We can see how forgiving and restoring the Lord is who is determined to bring back His people after disciplining them.
Jeremiah 47: God vows to finish off the Philistines....He commands the action and if that happens, there is nothing/ nobody able to prevent Him from doing so.
Jeremiah 48: The Message on Moab from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel is as harsh as it can get. God warns them to get out of there while they still can. People's love for Chemosh (the national deity of the Moabites) and their disobedience to the word of God would have dooming consequences.
