Luke 12:27-31

백합꽃이 어떻게 자라는지를 생각해 보아라. 수고도 하지 아니하고, 길쌈도 하지 않는다. 그러나 내가 너희에게 말한다. 자기의 온갖 영화로 차려 입은 솔로몬도 이 꽃 하나만큼 차려 입지 못하였다. 믿음이 적은 사람들아, 오늘 들에 있다가 내일 아궁이에 들어갈 풀도 하나님께서 그와 같이 입히시거든, 하물며 너희야 더 잘 입히지 않으시겠느냐? 그러므로 너희는, 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 하고 찾지 말고, 염려하지 말아라. 이런 것은 다 이방 사람들이 추구하는 것이다. 너희 아버지께서는, 이런 것이 너희에게 필요하다는 것을 아신다.그러므로 너희는 그의 나라를 구하여라. 그리하면 이런 것들을 너희에게 더하여 주실 것이다."Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.
