Colossians 1:15-20

그 아들은 보이지 않는 하나님의 형상이시요, 모든 피조물보다 먼저 나신 분이십니다. 만물이 그분 안에서 창조되었습니다. 하늘에 있는 것들과 땅에 있는 것들, 보이는 것들과 보이지 않는 것들, 왕권이나 주권이나 권력이나 권세나 할 것 없이, 모든 것이 그분으로 말미암아 창조되었고, 그분을 위하여 창조되었습니다. 그분은 만물보다 먼저 계시고, 만물은 그분 안에서 존속합니다. 그분은 교회라는 몸의 머리이십니다. 그는 근원이시며, 죽은 사람들 가운데서 제일 먼저 살아나신 분이십니다. 이는 그분이 만물 가운데서 으뜸이 되시기 위함입니다. 하나님께서는 그분의 안에 모든 충만함을 머무르게 하시기를 기뻐하시고, 그분의 십자가의 피로 평화를 이루셔서, 그분으로 말미암아 만물을, 곧 땅에 있는 것들이나 하늘에 있는 것들이나 다, 자기와 기꺼이 화해시켰습니다. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
