Colossians 1:21-23

전에 여러분은 악한 일로 하나님을 멀리 떠나 있었고, 마음으로 하나님과 원수가 되어 있었습니다. 그러나 지금은 하나님께서 그리스도의 죽으심을 통하여, 그분의 육신의 몸으로 여러분과 화해하셔서, 여러분을 거룩하고 흠이 없고 책망할 것이 없는 사람으로 자기 앞에 내세우셨습니다. 그러므로 여러분은 믿음에 튼튼히 터를 잡아 굳건히 서 있어야 하며, 여러분이 들은 복음의 소망에서 떠나지 말아야 합니다. 이 복음은 하늘 아래 있는 모든 피조물에게 전파되었으며, 나 바울은 이 복음의 일꾼이 되었습니다. Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation-- if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
