Colossians 2:1-5

여러분과 라오디게아에 있는 사람들과 그밖에 내 얼굴을 직접 보지 못한 사람들을 위하여 내가 얼마나 애쓰고 있는지 여러분이 알기를 바랍니다. 내가 이렇게 하는 것은 여러분 모두가 사랑으로 결속되어 마음에 격려를 받고, 깨달음에서 생기는 충만한 확신의 모든 풍요에 이르고, 하나님의 비밀인 그리스도를 온전히 알게 하려는 것입니다. 그리스도 안에는 모든 지혜와 지식의 보화가 감추어져 있습니다. 내가 이 말을 하는 것은, 아무도 교묘한 말로 여러분을 속이지 못하게 하기 위함입니다. 나는 육체로는 비록 떠나 있으나, 영으로는 여러분과 함께 있으며, 여러분이 질서 있게 살아가는 것과 그리스도를 믿는 여러분의 믿음이 굳건한 것을 보고 기뻐하고 있습니다.I want you to know how much I am struggling for you and for those at Laodicea, and for all who have not met me personally. My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments. For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how orderly you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.
