Mark 14:32-42

그들은 겟세마네라고 하는 곳에 이르렀다. 예수께서 제자들에게 말씀하시기를 "내가 기도하는 동안에, 너희는 여기에 앉아 있어라" 하시고, 베드로와 야고보와 요한을 데리고 가셨다. 예수께서는 매우 놀라며 괴로워하기 시작하셨다. 그래서 그들에게 말씀하셨다. "내 마음이 근심에 싸여 죽을 지경이다. 너희는 여기에 머물러서 깨어 있어라." 그리고서 조금 나아가서 땅에 엎드려 기도하시기를, 될 수만 있으면 이 시간이 자기에게서 비껴가게 해 달라고 하셨다.예수께서는 이렇게 말씀하셨다. "남은 시간을 자고 쉬어라. 그 정도면 넉넉하다. 때가 왔다. 보아라, 인자는 죄인들의 손에 넘어간다. 일어나서 가자. 보아라, 나를 넘겨줄 자가 가까이 왔다."They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, "Sit here while I pray." He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled. "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death," he said to them. "Stay here and keep watch." Going a little farther, he fell to the ground and prayed that if possible the hour might pass from him."Abba, Father," he said, "everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will." Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping. "Simon," he said to Peter, "are you asleep? Could you not keep watch for one hour? Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." Once more he went away and prayed the same thing. When he came back, he again found them sleeping, because their eyes were heavy. They did not know what to say to him.Returning the third time, he said to them, "Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!"
