1 Chronicles 21: ...because he was afraid of the sword of the angel of the Lord. David feared the Lord and that's what helped him to repent for his sins. The fact that David built an altar to give sacrifices to the Lord shows that he repented for his sins.
1 Chronicles 22: The preparations for the temple were extensive and although David was not the one who built the temple, his contributions were still quite significant. But certainly, regardless of how extensive and overwhelming the preparations were, it can still not compare to the glory and splendor of the Lord.
1 Chronicles 23: Why was the duty of the Levites to help Aaron’s descendants in the service of the temple of the Lord? After all Levi had three sons - Gershon, Kohath and Merari. Why were the sons and grandsons of the Khhathites called to do the duty?
1 Chronicles 24: Here we can see the divisions of priests. These priests were separated into divisions for their appointed order of ministering.
1 Chronicles 25: Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were under the supervision of the king. Along with their relatives—all of them trained and skilled in music for the Lord—they numbered 288. It's interesting to see how important music was in these times as well. These people were called for the ministry of prophesying accompanied by harps, lyres and cymbals. And this was a form of praise and worship to the Lord.
