2 Chronicles 21: So Jehoram King of Judah was not recognized as a good king either by God or the people of Judah. It's interesting to see how God gives opportunity after opportunity to successive kings and how the latter fails to walk with the Lord.

2 Chronicles 22: The reign of Ahaziah King of Judah was also short-lived as seen. He too followed the ways of the house of Ahab, for his mother encouraged him to act wickedly. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as the house of Ahab had done.

2 Chronicles 23: Finally, one righteous person. Jehoiada, the priest, made a covenant that he, the people and the king[c] would be the Lord’s people.

2 Chronicles 24: Restoration & fall...this is the ongoing repetitive theme that we can continuously see throughout these chapters. We can see the evil human nature that exist within us. Regardless of how much grace and mercy we receive, we always go back to our old sinful state if we don't have the spiritual discipline within us. So it's important that we stay focused on the word and live a life filled with prayer.

2 Chronicles 25: Amaziah, King of Judah, did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, but not wholeheartedly. Therefore the Lord struck him eventually. The Lord wants undivided worship and attention from His people.
