Job 16:
Surely Job is a worn out man by now. He blames God and his friends for making him miserable. However, his prayer is pure, sincere and honest toward God rather than decorating it with glorifying words to show off. So bottom line is that he is bitter and sad about his situation which is very natural. But on the other, he has faith in God.

Job 17:
"Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways, and those with clean hands will grow stronger." I assume that Job counts himself as someone who is righteous. Even though his days on this earth seem to have passed and his plans seem shattered, Yet the desires of his heart turn night into day. This seems to suggest that he has not hatred or remorse toward God and he has his focus and mind set toward his eternal life in heaven.

Job 18: Those are strong words by Bildad. He tries to awaken Job and wants him to come back to his senses. I wonder who is referring to when he mentions "evil man who does not know God."
