Proverbs 31: Man and Woman are same in regards to the need to fear the Lord. A wife of a noble character is someone reliable whom God and her husband can trust and bring good to them. But in order for a wife to be noble, the husband should not treat her with contempt but with wisdom, love and care.
Ecclesiastes 1: All the evidence points to Solomon as the Preacher and the writer of Ecclesiastes. As an older man, Solomon looked back at the mistakes he had made in his life and drew practical wisdom and an eternal perspective from them. I think he tries to say that everything by itself in this world is meaningless and lacks wisdom unless we fully acknowledge God as the Creator and Lord over our lives.
