Ecclesiastes 2: So Solomon seems to remind us that everything in this life is meaningless unless we truly find and know God who gives us wisdom, knowledge and happiness.

Ecclesiastes 3: 2 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. 14 I know that everything God does will endure forever; nothing can be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does it so that people will fear him....SO all in all, God only has good intentions and purpose for His people. But instead of giving thanksgiving to the Lord and to fear Him, we have abuse His goodness and keep sinning.

Ecclesiastes 4: This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind...Solomon is sad to see the oppression of that was taking place under the sun. He is sad to see tears and discontent and broken people who can only be healed by the grace of the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 5: So in order to flee the days of meaningless life, we should think about the gift of God that He bestowed upon us. TO find satisfaction and contentment and to have gladness of heart is sufficient gift given to us by the Lord.

Ecclesiastes 6: The one who is able to enjoy his prosperity is a blessed person. Wealth, possessions and honor can be meaningless if we don't have the ability to enjoy them. God gives us meaning and the ability to enjoy them and we should be thankful for His mercy.
