Isaiah 1: Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; thus is the forgiveness of God for our sins. He will forgive us and change us but we have to be willing to obey and to be changed ...and leave our sinful past behind us. Otherwise, we will be no different from the Israelite who kept on sinning and gave meaningless sacrifices to Him!
Isaiah 2: The Lord wants us to stop trusting in mere humans and our trust in silver and gold. Rather, He wants us to remember that He will be the one eventually lifted up high and exalted on the day when everything will be exposed.
Isaiah 3: The judgement of Jerusalem and Judah seems extreme but the Lord is sad that His chosen and trusted people have disobeyed Him and have been led astray. But the Lord will ensure that the righteous will be remembered and the last ones standing on the last day.
