Isaiah 16: Kir Hareseth... a stronghold for the Moabites will no longer be able to stand since God's mercy is no longer upon it. The one from the house[a] of David will come with come with love, faithfulness, justice and righteousness, which are all the traits of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 17: Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins because it has forgotten the grace of the Savior. Indeed, they have forgotten God their Savior; they have not remembered the Rock, their fortress. How much do we treasure the Lord in our lives?

Isaiah 18: We can see God's prophecy against the land of whirring wings[a] along the rivers of Cush (the upper Nile region).
For, before the harvest, when the blossom is gone
and the flower becomes a ripening grape,
he will cut off the shoots with pruning knives,
and cut down and take away the spreading branches.

This is a clear description how doom and destruction will befall on Cush and this how the Lord takes apart nations and people who are disobedient and adamant without a heart of repentance.
