Hebrews 5: To learn "trusting obedience by what Christ suffered", "to look up to Christ as the source of eternal salvation by believingly obey Him"...these are ultimate tasks for us His disciples who want to follow His footsteps and mature in Him. We should no longer long for baby's milk but we should rather seek solid food that is for mature, who have some practice in telling right from wrong.
Hebrews 6: "I want each of you to extend that same intensity toward a full-bodied hope, and keep at it till the finish. Don’t drag your feet. Be like those who stay the course with committed faith".... So we should live in His grace with His presence throughout instead of going back to our old filthy sinful habits. His promise is His word, "a rock-solid guarantee that is an unbreakable spiritual lifeline."
