Habakkuk 1: Habakkuk the prophet is appalled at the evil and destruction caused to the people by the Babylonians. "Will you let this Babylonian fisherman Fish like a weekend angler, killing people as if they’re nothing but fish?" He cries out to the Lord and pleads with him not to be silent during these difficult moments.
Habakkuk 2: "Who do you think you are?" ... full of self, but soul-empty. "If a man is bloated by self-importance, then he is just full of himself but soul-empty. But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive." So we should come back to our senses and remember that being alive in God means to stand before Him through loyal and steady believing and to leave behind our past that's bloated self-importance.
