Galatians 5:13-18

형제자매 여러분, 하나님께서는 여러분을 부르셔서, 자유를 누리게 하셨습니다. 그러나 여러분은 그 자유를 육체의 욕망을 만족시키는 구실로 삼지 말고, 사랑으로 서로 섬기십시오. 모든 율법은 "네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하여라" 하신 한 마디 말씀 속에 다 들어 있습니다. 그런데 여러분이 서로 물어뜯고 잡아먹고 하면, 피차 멸망하고 말 터이니, 조심하십시오.내가 또 말합니다. 여러분은 성령께서 인도하여 주시는 대로 살아가십시오. 그러면 육체의 욕망을 채우려 하지 않을 것입니다. 육체의 욕망은 성령을 거스르고, 성령이 바라시는 것은 육체를 거스릅니다. 이 둘이 서로 적대관계에 있으므로, 여러분은 자기가 원하는 일을 할 수 없게 됩니다. 그런데 여러분이, 성령의 인도하심을 따라 살아가면, 율법 아래에 있는 것이 아닙니다.You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love your neighbor as yourself." If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
