Galatians 4:1-7

If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.... 내가 또 말합니다. 유업을 이을 사람은 모든 것의 주인이지만, 어릴 때에는 종과 다름이 없고, 아버지가 정해 놓은 그 때까지는 보호자와 관리인의 지배 아래에 있습니다. 이와 같이, 우리도 어릴 때에는, 세상의 유치한 교훈 아래에서 종노릇을 하였습니다. 그러나 기한이 찼을 때에, 하나님께서는 자기 아들을 보내셔서, 여자에게서 나게 하시고, 또한 율법 아래에 놓이게 하셨습니다. 그것은 율법 아래에 있는 사람들을 속량하시고, 우리로 하여금 자녀의 자격을 얻게 하시려는 것이었습니다.그런데 여러분은 자녀이므로, 하나님께서 그 아들의 영을 우리의 마음에 보내 주셔서 우리가 하나님을 "아빠, 아버지"라고 부를 수 있게 하셨습니다. 그러므로 여러분 각 사람은 이제 종이 아니라 자녀입니다. 자녀이면, 하나님께서 세워 주신 상속자이기도 합니다.What I am saying is that as long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. He is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father. So also, when we were children, we were in slavery under the basic principles of the world. But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under law, to redeem those under law, that we might receive the full rights of sons.Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.
