1 Chronicles 10: Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance, 14 and did not inquire of the Lord. I wonder why Chronicles does not talk about the rise of Saul as king and his reign, although it lists the genealogy of Saul.

1 Chronicles 11: On the contrary, David became more and more powerful because the Lord was with him. God blessed David and he became powerful by conquering Jerusalem with mighty warriors to his assistance.

1 Chronicles 12: Many people were determined to make David as king of all Israel and he received the needed manpower support. It's quite significant to see how these different men from different regions offered their help to join in the fight against Saul.

1 Chronicles 13: David's emotions are quite understandable - he was angry because the Lord’s wrath had broken out against Uzzah and he was afraid of God since he was not sure how to handle the ark moving forward. For the Lord killed Uzzah when the latter out his hand on the Ark, but the Lord blessed the family of Obed-Edom while the Ark was with them for three months.

1 Chronicles 14: The Lord made all the nations fear David, since God had gone out in front of him to strike the Philistine army. Indeed, God delivered all enemies into the hands of David and His spirit and power was with him. And David communicated with God and inquired what next steps he should take to defeat the Philistines.
