2 Chronicles 16:... to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. Yes, the Lord is a jealous God who detests any form idolatry. He wants our full attention and commitment from us.

2 Chronicles 17: Jehoshaphat became more and more powerful...not because of his wisdom but because the Lord was with him. His heart was devoted to the ways of the Lord.

2 Chronicles 18: Micaiah was a prophet and a messenger of God. His words should have been more attention to as God communicated through prophets in the OT.

2 Chronicles 19: because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the Lord, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. Now let the fear of the Lord be on you... For the fear of the Lord will give us the needed wisdom and discernment and self-control in all we do.

2 Chronicles 20: We can see the rise and end of Jehoshaphat's reign in this chapter. When he and his people gave the total control of the battles, the Lord took command and fought the battles and none of Jehoshaphat's armies shed a single drop of blood. On the other hand, as soon as Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance with Ahaziah king of Israel, whose ways were wicked, the Lord destroyed all he had made and established.
