2 Chronicles 4: We can see a vivid description of the temple's furnishings. In all instances, all these things that Solomon made amounted to so much that the weight of the bronze and other precious materials could not be calculated. This really shows that nothing was too good for the Lord.
2 Chronicles 5: Then the temple of the Lord was filled with the cloud... because of the cloud, for the glory of the Lord filled the temple of God. Indeed, we can see that the Lord rejoiced that the Ark was brought back to the Temple and that the priests made such a strong effort build the resting place for the ark.
2 Chronicles 6: Solomon’s Prayer of Dedication is filled with praise and adoration for God but also at the same time, he pleads to the Lord to remember the great love promised to David His servant.
2 Chronicles 7: “But if you[a] turn away and forsake the decrees and commands... It shows that God is aware of our fickle and weak human nature. We constantly sin toward God but He sympathizes with us as He pours out His spirit onto us.
2 Chronicles 8: It seems that Solomon was truly wise and he knew how to manage tasks and duties according to the priorities. Indeed, the Lord had blessed him with the needed wisdom and knowledge to govern and manage Israel and to build good relationships with neighboring countries.
2 Chronicles 9: Because of the love of your God for Israel and his desire to uphold them forever, he has made you king over them, to maintain justice and righteousness.” Indeed, God did not select Solomon as king because he was more special than others. God selected Solomon as king to keep the promise to David. And the Lord used Solomon as his tool of instrument to maintain justice and righteousness in Israel because of His love for Israel.
2 Chronicles 10: A series of unwise actions by Rehoboam leads to the break up of the united kingdom by Solomon. Rehoboam should have listened to the advice of the elders and people of Israel.
