Psalm 119: David seeks to obey and long for God's command, precepts, law and His word throughout this chapter. Though he is in anguish due to the enemies looming around him, he still nevertheless fully relies on the Lord for His help.
Psalm 120: Here, we can see David being distressed since he seeks peace but is being surrounded by people who oppose peace and rather want warfare. Therefore, David calls on the Lord for deliverance.
Psalm 121: Where does David's help come from? - His help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. The Lord who watches over Israel will watch over our lives both now and forevermore.
Psalm 122: David prays for the peace within the walls and citadels of Jerusalem, for the House of the Lord is situated there.
Psalm 123: David lifts up his eyes to the Lord seeking the mercy of the Lord for he has endured ridicule and contempt from his adversaries. Thus, he cries out to the Lord for protection and deliverance.
