Psalm 92: ... proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night... 하나님과 함께 동행하는 삶을 보여줍니다. To David, this is joy and gladness. The Lord is truly his Rock and stronghold in his life.
Psalm 93: Even the fiery great waters and seas submit themselves to the might and powers of the Lord. The Lord with His statutes stand firm and cannot be shaken. And if we submit ourselves to Him, he will guide and protect us under the shadows of His wings.
Psalm 94: "The Lord knows all human plans; he knows that they are futile." This verse confirms that all are evil and have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Indeed, the Lord knows our innermost intimate thoughts, even the evil ones. Truly, blessed is the one that the Lord disciplines and the one He teaches from His law. Thus, we should not shy away from the Lord but rather we should seek Him.
Psalm 95: “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah." "But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath." These two verses show well the sinfulness of our hearts toward the Lord. Because of this hardness of our heart, we have the tendency to go astray and follow our gods and ways of life.
Psalm 96: "He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness." We can see the true genuinely good intentions the Lord has toward peoples of all nations and world He has created for them. If we really true have an encounter with the Lord, we will be overwhelmed by the splendor of his holiness, strength and glory.
Psalm 97: For those who are righteous (through faith in His son Jesus Christ) and upright in heart, true light will shine on them and joy will be prevalent all over their lives. Most importantly, we have to pray that we remain faithful to Him and do not form idols and boast in them. Rather, we should look up to His righteousness and justice that are the foundation of His throne and mark His reign.
Psalm 98: "Sing to the Lord a new song, for he has done marvelous things." This verse tells us that we need a renewed heart before the Lord to sing of His praises and glories.
Psalm 99: They called on the Lord and he answered them; He spoke to them from the pillar of cloud; you were to Israel a forgiving God. So we can see that the Lord seeks a two-way communication with each one of us. He definitely listens to our prayers, answers them and speaks to us. We have to fine tune our hearts so we can hear when He speaks to us.
Psalm 100: "Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his[a]; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture." It is relieving to know that our creator cares for each one of us, as much as a shepherd cares for each of his own sheep. We live in this world but we don't belong to it. Rather, God created us and we are His. Our eternal home is with Him.
