Psalm 79:Yes, the Lord is our true shepherd and we are his flock. Our shepherd knows each one of by our own names and he wants to be acknowledged and called by us.
Psalm 80: Indeed, restore us Lord, revive us Lord and return to us, God Almighty.I pray that God's face will shine on me that I maybe saved and rejoice in the salvation every day and night.
Psalm 81: Finally the Lord speaks in response to peoples' cry out and desperation. People generally have hardened hearts and don't want to listen to God since they are stiff-necked and disobedient in general due to their sins. Thus, they follow their own ways and their own man-made devices and worship them as gods. I pray that we will overcome idolatry and follow the ways of the Lord.
Psalm 82: The glories of gods of this earth are short-lived and will eventually come to end. But our Lord who judges the earth, is the Lord and God of all nations which are His inheritance.
Psalm 83:David/ Asaph prays to God for justice on the enemies. But we can see David/Asaph don't pray for personal revenge or any such personal matters. Rather, David/Asaph want their enemies to realize that the Lord alone is the Most High over all the earth, so that they will seek His name and face.
Psalm 84: David yearns for the Lord and pleads with the Lord to listen to his prayers. Even as the sparrow has found a home, David seeks to find a spiritual home himself, a place nearby His altar where he can be close to God and be with Him.
