Ecclesiastes 9: Thinking about the "fleeting" life God gave us, which He has given to us under the sun. We should rely on the wisdom given to us by the Lord. Everything we do is in the hands of God but we should use the resources with all our might (activity, planning, knowledge, wisdom). Every single step in our lives should be fully relied on our Lord.

Ecclesiastes 10: Am I a foolish person or a wise person ? It says that a wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left.
Wisdom helps us in many ways in our daily lives, even in our daily interactions with others. E.g. If a ruler’s [c]temper rises against you, do not abandon your position, because composure allays great offenses. By being wise, we will be able to discern in important situations and with our composure, we will not anger but allay great offenses.

Ecclesiastes 11: ...and at evening let your hands not be idle. As we invest in many venture in our early years, we should however not look too much upon the meaningless days ahead of us. Rather, we should ask the Lord for wise ways of the heart so we can see things and do things that will not bring us into judgment but rather into an intimate relationship with Him.

Ecclesiastes 12: It's fundamentally important that we remember our Creator in our youth and find pleasure in all things He has created for us. I pray that the words of the Lord (shepherd) will serve like goads (staff, rod) to me and guide me in Him in my every day life.
