Malachi 1: I pray that I won't offer God something hand-me-down, broken or useless. Rather, I pray that I offer myself to Him as living sacrifice that will please Him and satisfy Him. I hope not to be blemish but pray that my life will serve as a fragrant offering to Him.
Malachi 2: God wants us to watch out and to stop desecrating His holiness. He warns the priests since they have abandoned the way of priests and they are not serious about honoring Him, not following the footsteps of Levi who kept his covenant with him and honored Him.
