Proverbs 1: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools[c] despise wisdom and instruction....Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the Lord. So beginning to fear (to stop sinning) the Lord is important since it means we get to know Him and increase in wisdom.

Proverbs 2: So what is wisdom? knowledge and understanding that the Lord provides. Wisdom here can be compared to the law which helps us to understand what is right and just and fair.

Proverbs 3: God's wisdom and knowledge laid the foundations of the earth and initiated & finished all His creations. If we truly fear the Lord, then we should Honor the Lord not only with our mouth but also with our wealth, with the firstfruits of all our crops. If we sincerely trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding, he will give us the wisdom to discern and prioritize.

Proverbs 4: turn your ear to my words...keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to one’s whole body. Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Amen! So we should watch out what we consume on daily basis and make sure that our hearts do not get contaminated with filth of this world. I pray that the word of God within me will guide me. Amen!

Proverbs 5:For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths. So we should keep in mind that God watches every single step and action we take. Lack of spiritual discipline will lead us astray by our own great folly and will lead us toward a secular misguided life. We should cherish and treasure spiritual discipline provided to us by the Lord.
