Psalm 113: he Lord enables situations and things which is not feasible in the eyes of his people. For examples, he turns a barren woman into a fruitful woman and raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from ash heep. So our our can help change things around 180 degrees completely as He sees the needs.
Psalm 114: The God of Jacob turned rock into a pool, the had rock into springs of water. So all creations of God should tremble before Him and we must be in awe of Him and fear Him. That's the beginning of wisdom.
Psalm 115: O Won-Min, trust in the LORD-- he is your help and shield. God, please help me not to create idols made by the hands of men.
Psalm 116: "The LORD protects the simplehearted." I think it means for those whose souls are poor and only seek the presence and guidance of the Lord in their lives. If we have too many things to seek in our lives, this can disturb us from following the Lord wholeheartedly.
Psalm 117: "그의 사랑 우리에게 뜨겁고 그의 진실하심 영원하시다. 할렐루야." 하나님을 향한 우리의 마음은 미지근 할수 있지만 그분은 우리에게 늘 뜨거운 사랑을 베푸십니다.
Psalm 118: David says, "The LORD has chastened me severely, but he has not given me over to death." So we can reflect on David's roller coaster life and his relationship with God. He was chastised by God on many occasions (e.g. Bathsheba, Census etc.), but he was also reconciled to God. His relationship to God has been the true anchor in David's life as we can see.
