Psalm 141: David asks God to set guard over his body and actions and pleads for His protection and mercy.
Psalm 142: The roller coaster ride continues for David as he once again feels left alone and desperately seeks the refuge in the Lord. He knows that he himself is wicked but cries out for the goodness of the Lord.
Psalm 143: I thirst for you like a parched land...Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love...Show me the way I should go...Rescue me from my enemies, Lord...Teach me to do your will...may your good Spirit lead me on level ground..... This truly is sincere prayer of the heart by David who asks God to be with him and to guide his life 24/7. If we really that God is our father and we are his children, our attitude should be like David's in that we seek that the Lord with all our hearts and minds and plead with Him not to remove His unfailing love from us.
Psalm 144: Blessed is the people whose God is the Lord and not the gods of human hands. Only the Lord Almighty will relieve the people of their distress and be able to release them from the Babylonian captivity that has oppressed them for so long.
Psalm 145: The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.... I think this refers to people who long and seek for the word of His unfailing love every morning and seek His presence in their lives.
Psalm 146: David emphasizes once again that everything on this earth will eventually come to an end, is short-lived and cannot save or is not reliable forever. Therefore, David encourages his listeners to seek help from the faithful God of Jacob in whom there is hope of eternity.
