Psalm 70: David continues to display his roller coaster-like attitude toward the Lord. In one chapter He praises the Lord for all the goodness and blessings in his life. And in the next chapter, he laments again saying how poor and needy he is. This is the true nature of human life. In one moment we feel great about our lives and give all thanks and glory to Him. But in the next moment, we feel shaky and miserable and seek his help and delivery from desperate moments.
Psalm 71: "My mouth will tell of your righteous deeds, of your saving acts all day long— though I know not how to relate them all." This indeed is our God's abundant grace overflows our lives. He shows us saving grace and kindness every day but we just don't know how to relate them all. We should pray to God so he will display His mercy and grace to see the connected dots in our lives.
Psalm 72: Here we can see the conclusion of David's prayers. David is convinced that God will rescue His people from the oppression and violence for precious is their blood to the creator of all human beings!
