Genesis 19: Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire. Despite the sweep of mankind through the flood, again we see them sinning against God. It's quite bold of Lot to offer his two daughters to the young and old of Sodom. But God spared them from getting harmed.
Genesis 20: So Sarah was truly the half sister of Abraham. It was not a total lie overall. But Abraham's intentions were not pure but rather displayed cowardice. It's the second incident after Genesis 20 when Abram lied to the pharaoh saying that Sarai would be his sister.
