Genesis 5: The Family Tree of the Human Race is interesting as many people back then lived close do 1000 years. Among the many listed in the chapter, Enoch seems to stand out as he only lived a total of 365 years only. It's noticeable how the Bible says twice that "Enoch walked steadily with God." And then one day he was simply gone: God took him. So can we assume that God took those whom He loved early and did not let the experience death on earth ?
Genesis 6: "God was sorry that he had made the human race in the first place; it broke his heart." Therefore, God picked Noah to establish a new covenant with and fo have a new beginning.
