2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

형제자매 여러분, 우리 주 예수 그리스도께서 다시 오시는 일과 우리가 그분 앞에 모이는 일을 두고 여러분에게 간청합니다. 여러분은, 영이나 말이나 우리에게서 받았다고 하는 편지에 속아서, 주님의 날이 벌써 왔다고 생각하게 되어, 마음이 쉽게 흔들리거나 당황하는 일이 없도록 하십시오. 여러분은 아무에게도 어떤 방식으로도 속아넘어가지 마십시오. 그 날이 오기 전에 먼저 믿음을 배신하는 일이 생기고, 불법자 곧 멸망의 자식이 나타날 것입니다. 그는 신이라고 불리는 모든 것이나 예배의 대상이 되는 모든 것에 대항하고, 그들 위로 자기를 높이는 자인데, 하나님의 성전에 앉아서, 자기가 하나님이라고 주장할 것입니다. Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers, not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by some prophecy, report or letter supposed to have come from us, saying that the day of the Lord has already come. Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for (that day will not come) until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God.
