2 Kings 10: Although Jehu destroyed Baal worship in Israel and destroyed all the house of Ahab yet he continued to worship other forms of idols: e.g. golden calves at Bethel and Dan. So he only partially obeyed the law of God and did not follow Him with all his heart. As a result, the sins of Israel persisted but God's grace and mercy did not cease on the people.
2 Kings 11: Joash was seven years old when he began to reign!!! What good can come out of a seven year old little boy? However, it's interesting to see what challenges (e.g. Athaliah) Joash had to overcome before he was seated on the throne with the help of Jehoiada.
2 Kings 12: Although Joash was assassinated by conspiracy, he still did what was right before God. He let priests collect all the money that was brought as sacred offering to the temple of the Lord and let them use it to repair and restore the temple of the Lord.
