2 Kings 8: We see the continuation from the previous chapters how Elisha continues to be the extended arm of God to the people in Israel. Because of His promise to David, God still continued to bless the his successors although they followed the ways of the house of Ahab and did evil in the eyes of the Lord.
2 Kings 9: Jehu was the tenth king of the northern Kingdom of Israel and he is known for killing both Joram and Ahaziah. He carried out exactly how God had instructed him through Elisha as we can see.
